Welcome to the website of the department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education (CISE) at Mississippi State University. I am extremely proud of our teacher education programs, both graduate and undergraduate. We offer the only online elementary education degree in the state, both graduate and undergraduate licensure programs in secondary and foreign language education, and special education programs that prepare teachers to work with students with a wide variety of exceptionalities. You will find that our courses are rigorous, engaging, and designed around meaningful field experiences. We place an emphasis on research and engage in service to local schools and to the profession at the state and national level.
